About PluckVid

PluckVid started with a small frustration: every "paste link, get video" tool on the internet was buried under pop-ups, fake buttons and redirect chains — a five-second job made into a twenty-second obstacle course. We figured a downloader could just be… a downloader.

What we are

A free web tool that resolves public media from Instagram, TikTok, Facebook and X (Twitter) and streams it once to your device. Fast pages, one honest input box, results labeled clearly, and download links that expire because the media behind them was never ours to keep.

Two promises

• We never ask for your logins. No Instagram password, no TikTok session, nothing. Any downloader asking for credentials is a credential-harvester.
• We never store media. Files stream through and are discarded. Our cache holds only link metadata, briefly.

What we won't build

Private-content tools. Bulk scrapers. "Mod apk" bait. Notification spam. The downloader industry's worst habits are someone else's growth hacks — they're not ours.

Operating notes

The site runs on two small services: a static-first web app for the pages you read, and a separate extraction engine that gets patched weekly as platforms change — that separation is why the site loads fast even when a platform is having a bad day. See the privacy policy for the (short) data list.
