TikTok Thumbnail Downloader — Get Video Covers in HD
Every TikTok has a cover frame — the image people see before they tap. Paste a video link and download that cover at full resolution.
Auto-detects Instagram, TikTok, Facebook and X. Public content only.
How to download in 3 steps
Copy the TikTok link
In the TikTok app, open the video, tap the arrow (Share) icon, then tap "Copy link".
Paste it into the box
Paste the link above. PluckVid auto-detects the video and fetches every available format.
Choose your format
Pick the no-watermark MP4, MP3 audio, or photos from the results and tap Download.
What you get
The real cover
The exact frame chosen by the creator (or auto-selected), served full size.
JPG, as served
Original format and resolution from TikTok's CDN — no recompression.
Covers + video
The cover appears alongside the video results, so grab either or both.
Great for research
Editors, marketers and researchers use covers to study what gets clicks.
Full-size TikTok covers
The cover image is half of a TikTok's success — creators A/B-test covers constantly. If you study what works, or need a still frame from a video, the cover asset is what you want, not a paused screenshot.
Paste any TikTok video link: the cover appears in the results next to the video files, at its native resolution.
Download thumbnails on any device
PluckVid works in the browser, so it behaves the same on every device TikTok does.
On iPhone, Safari puts MP4s in the Files app — use the share sheet to move them to Photos. On Android, files go straight to your Downloads folder or gallery. On desktop, it's your browser's normal download flow.
Tip: on iOS, if the video opens in a new tab instead of downloading, long-press the video and choose "Save to Photos".
- iPhone / iPad: Safari → Files app, or share sheet → Save to Photos
- Android: Chrome → Downloads folder or gallery
- Windows / macOS / Linux: standard browser download
Private by design
The thumbnails you download aren't stored by PluckVid. Files stream through a short-lived connection and are gone; only link metadata is cached for about 15–30 minutes.
We never ask for a TikTok login. We can't see your account, and we only process public content — the same videos anyone can watch without an account.
TikTok creators own their work. Keep downloads personal and ask before reposting someone's video or sound.
