X Image Downloader — Save Twitter Photos in Original Quality
X compresses images to thumbnails in the feed; the originals are much better. Paste a post link and download every photo at its served resolution.
Auto-detects Instagram, TikTok, Facebook and X. Public content only.
How to download in 3 steps
Copy the post link
On X (Twitter), open the photo post, tap the Share icon and choose "Copy link to post".
Paste it above
Paste the link into the box. PluckVid reads the public post and lists every media variant.
Save it
Tap Download on the MP4, GIF-converted video, or image you want. It saves to your gallery or downloads folder.
What you get
Original resolution
Photos at the largest size X's CDN stores — typically up to 4096px.
All photos in a post
Four-image posts return four files, in order.
JPG/PNG as served
Original format, no recompression on our side.
Mixed posts
Posts with both video and images list everything.
Twitter photos, at their actual size
The feed shows you a compressed preview. The CDN has the original — for photography, screenshots, infographics and memes alike, the difference is significant.
Paste any public post containing images: each one is listed individually at its maximum resolution with the :orig-style variants resolved.
PluckVid is browser-based, so X downloads work identically everywhere.
On iPhone, videos land in the Files app (share to Photos to keep them in your camera roll). On Android and desktop, your normal Downloads folder receives the file.
Both x.com and twitter.com links work — they're the same platform, and we normalize them to the same thing before anything is fetched.
- iPhone / iPad: Safari → Files app, share sheet → Save to Photos
- Android: Chrome → Downloads or gallery
- Desktop: browser download, no extension
Private by design
Downloads of images pass through PluckVid without being stored. Metadata caching lasts 15–30 minutes; media is never persisted.
No X account or login is ever requested. Public posts only — protected accounts and followers-only content can't be reached, by design.
Posts on X belong to the people who wrote them. Save for personal use; credit and ask before reposting.
