One-person-band-friendly: mail gets read, usually within a couple of days. Pick the closest channel so it lands in the right queue.

Before you write

Most questions are already answered on the tool pages themselves. If a download failed, try the following first — it fixes the vast majority of reports:

  • Make sure the post is public. PluckVid cannot access private accounts, followers-only posts, or anything behind a login.
  • Use the full share link from the platform's Share menu, not a screenshot or a search result.
  • If the post is very new, give it a minute — very fresh posts are sometimes not yet reachable from the platform's public CDN.
  • Try the dedicated tool page for the format you want (video, photo, MP3) rather than the all-in-one page — the results are the same, but the fallback chain is tuned per format.

Reporting a broken link or download

Platforms change their internals constantly, and an extractor can break overnight. If a specific URL fails, send it to hello@pluckvid.com with the platform name and what you expected to get. You don't need to include logs or screenshots — the URL is enough, because every submission is traceable on our side by time and platform. Broken extractors are usually fixed within a day; when a platform change is bigger, it may take the weekly update cycle.

Copyright & takedowns

PluckVid does not host, cache, or store any media. Everything you download is streamed directly from the source platform's public CDN and discarded. If you own content that is being downloaded through the service, send a notice to dmca@pluckvid.com or follow the process on the DMCA page. We commit to a 48-hour response on takedown requests, and we can block specific URLs from being processed.

Privacy requests

We keep almost nothing: no accounts, no download history, no media. For what little is collected (and how to request a copy or deletion), see the privacy policy, then email privacy@pluckvid.com.

Please note: we can't recover media you downloaded, and we can't access private content — for your own posts, use the platform's built-in data export.
