What this Reels downloader does
Reels are Instagram's most-shared format, but the app only lets you save them inside Instagram — behind a login, watermarked for some content, and inaccessible if the author's account disappears. A Reels downloader fixes that: paste the public reel link, get the raw MP4 file.
PluckVid fetches the exact media variants Instagram serves for that reel and lists them all — usually a single high-quality MP4, sometimes several. You choose the one you want; nothing is re-encoded or watermarked on our side.

Reels with the original audio — how it works
A Reel file contains its own audio track: the original sound the creator used. When you download the MP4 through PluckVid, that track comes with it, unmodified.
If you only want the sound — a trending audio, a snippet of a song — use the Instagram to MP3 tool. It pulls the audio stream out of the same reel and hands it to you as a standalone file.
Private by design
PluckVid doesn't store the Reels you download. Links are resolved, streamed once through a short-lived connection, then discarded — our cache only keeps metadata for about 15 to 30 minutes so repeat downloads are faster.
We don't ask for an Instagram, TikTok, Facebook or X login, ever. We never see your passwords, and we can't touch private accounts — that's a hard boundary, not a marketing line.
Instagram content belongs to the people who created it. Download for personal use, and respect creators' rights: don't repost someone else's work without permission.
