PluckVid does not host any media. Files stream directly from the source platforms' CDNs through a temporary connection and are never persisted on our systems. Nevertheless, we respect copyright law and respond to every valid takedown notice.

How to file a takedown notice

Send a notice to dmca@pluckvid.com with:

• Identification of the copyrighted work you claim is infringed.
• The exact URL(s) on pluckvid.com involved (e.g. the page and the source link being resolved).
• Your name, address, phone number and email.
• A statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
• A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the owner or authorized to act for the owner.
• Your physical or electronic signature.

What happens next

Valid notices are processed within 48 hours: the URL is added to a permanent blocklist honored by our extraction pipeline, and any cached metadata for it is purged.

Counter-notice

If you believe your content was blocked in error, reply from the same address with a counter-notice containing the same identity details and your good-faith statement. We'll review and restore where appropriate.

Repeat infringers

Source URLs that generate repeated valid takedowns are blocked permanently. We maintain records of notices processed for this purpose.

Note for rights holders

Because nothing is stored, removing a page's ability to resolve a source link is the complete remedy available to us — and the fastest path to stopping the behavior. For content hosted by the platforms themselves, a takedown to the platform (Instagram, TikTok, Facebook or X) removes it at the source for everyone.
